Helen Lorraine Trieloff Lehman
JEFFERSON, Wisconsin — Helen L. Lehman, 84, of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Alden Estates of Countryside.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1926, in Cambridge, to Conrad and Agnes (Bogenschneider) Trieloff. She married Freddie Lehman on Aug. 18, 1945, in Cambridge. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1986.
She and her husband founded and ran the Jefferson County Humane Society in Jefferson for 11 years. She also was employed as a cook at the Jefferson High School for 13 years.
Helen enjoyed bowling and crocheting.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary (Tom) Orval of Johnson Creek; one son, Jon (Sheri) Lehman of Jefferson; three granddaughters, Becky Pfeifer and Stacie and Krista Lehman; two grandsons, Robert Lehman and Robby Lemke; one great-granddaughter, Kendall Lemke; two great-grandsons, Cody Pfeifer and Esdon Lemke; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Alison Pfeifer; three sisters, Virginia Burow, Marie Hartman and Eunice Evenson; and one brother, Carl Trieloff.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Jefferson at noon on Tuesday with the Rev. Nancy Carmichael-Stoner officiating. Burial will take place in Ward Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
Friends may call at the church on Tuesday after 11 a.m. until the time of services.
