Hulda H. Gruenewald

FOND DU LAC - Hulda H. Gruenewald, 101, formerly of 30 N. Henninger St., Mayville, died on Thursday, March 21, 2002, at the Manor Care Nursing Home, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m., at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. The Revs. Edward Blonski and William Stark will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Mayville.

Mrs. Gruenewald was born on March 21, 1901, in Theresa, the daughter of William and Louisa (Bogenschneider) Dobberpuhl. She was married on Oct. 2, 1919, to Alfred Gruenewald at Zion Lutheran Church, town of Theresa.

Mrs. Gruenewald was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Helen Dobberpuhl, Hustisford; six grandchildren, Lorraine (Robert) Smith, Mosinee, Ken (Diane) Majerus, Ronald Majerus, both of Campbellsport, Gary (special friend Cheryl Grosenisk) Majerus, Fond du Lac, Lois Majerus, West Bend, and LuAnne Majerus, Fond du Lac; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred; one daughter, Evelyn Majerus; one granddaughter, Linda Majerus; five sisters, Elsie Zahn, Selma Horn, Lynda Benter, Amanda Beck, and Linda Hoepner, and one brother, Edwin Dobberpuhl.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 24, from 1 p.m. until the time of service, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.
