Warren H. Moldenhauer died on Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac at the age of 92 years. He was born on April 3, 1921 in the Town of Theresa to the late Leo and Helena (nee Bogenschneider) Moldenhauer.
On July 17, 1943, he was united in marriage to Verona E. Krueger at Zion Lutheran Church in Theresa. Warren and Verona celebrated more than 60 years of marriage. Verona predeceased May 27, 2004.
Warren was a lifelong resident of the Town of Theresa and a member of Zion Lutheran Church for most of his adult life. He worked as farmer and then later for Maysteel, Inc. in Mayville where he retired in the early 1980’s after more than 25 years of employment. Warren lived on the Krueger homestead until he was 91 when he entered Hope Nursing Home in Lomira. Warren enjoyed playing games, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
Survivors include 4 children Kermit (Laura) of New Ulm, MN, Koreen (Daniel) Breuer of Allenton, Kristeen Christian of Claremont, FL and Keith of Ripon; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kathleen Hebert in 1984.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 8, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church in the Town of Theresa with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.
